Definitely seems to be that the more they do, the more cooperative they get. We are seeing that with Coral, doing something every day means we get fewer disagreements about what we should be doing (usually her: eating, us: working). Problem is finding the time to do regular work with them :?

Finally got to ride in it myself yesterday, have to say it was very comfy on Tari. Maybe because she's like a well-upholstered sofa and it might not be the same on a skinny horse! You can really feel what her back is doing, useful as I get an early warning for any potential buckies (which always see...

We haven't had too much of a summer, so much rain! Really hope we don't get soaked at archery camp next week :roll:

More achery today then off to photograph the summer show at Tumpy Green tomorrow, weather looking iffy though :?

Jo also showed me some bits of interesting techniques from Silke Valentin, the German trainer who is in a motorised scooter, and so teaches shaping without ever being in the saddle, and Silke is doing a clinic, one of several in the UK in the autumn, at Jo's yard in Buckinghamshire, I am very tempt...

Yep, my most expensive purchase has been Gandalf! Have never paid more than £30 for boots from Decathlon :lol: I suppose after the horses it would be saddles, the Barefoot second hand cost £400.....
