Good that you're busy though Sheila but hope you'll get more time for yourself soon. I'm resigned to busy summers and quieter winters- goes with the job although right now it feels more autumnal than summer!

Yes saddle for me too- although the days of paying a grand for a 'proper' dressage saddle have long gone and my budget much diminished. I pay up to £150 for long boots but they are essential for work in the winter and pay me back fourfold.

I'm a member of a 'mainstream' dressage group on FB where there is a current discussion on the price of a reasonably priced pair of long boots. I must be in another world as someone reckons £535 for a pair of boots is reasonable. There were made to measure but still that seems a hefty price to me :e...
