Interdressage August

Postby Chevalblanc » Mon Aug 27, 2012 12:53 pm

Bit late for this, but finally got round to doing something for this month. No kids for 3 days, they've gone to the coast with the MIL, yay!

Did the PH one with Fina, don't think we're going to get around to doing the Baroque one, although I really want to, she is not being very cooperative at the moment  All she wants to think about is making babies with Soso, neither of them are apparently aware that this is a physical impossibility

Vid later

I'm going to submit my comedy entry for the Baroque class to give our Trudi a good laugh in this stressy time for her!

Fina and Soso would have had rather nice babies.....

Just what you need, another horse :D

Was it Jean Louis who was talking about a Fjord x Anglo? Like the sound of that too.

Have watched the beginning of your vid -lovely shady spot. Will watch the rest later but it looked really good.

Don't worry about not doing the Baroque Helen! I'm hoping that the numbers are low this month :D Karina is judging the PH! Anyone see the comment about the judging in the classical class? Apparently more elevation was asked for and advice was to send it forward; to be fair if you don't see the test it's hard to comment but I'm not sure elevation would be the correct term at walk and trot level.

Hmmm did a run through with Chester  didn't go quite according to plan - think Helen has some good shots and video of his expressions..."we are not amused" sprung to mind..
Will try something next month..

Oh -I'm surprised. But don't be disheartened, the PH people are VERY serious and they do them all, so I'm sure there are loads of simple ways you can catch them up.

Should have done the Baroque  Sarah's right though, they are a serious bunch and you're not at all off the pace to be fair. Mind you I'm really impressed (again) by the standard in the Baroque.
