Simulator session

Yesterday I took a small group of regulars to a simulator session with Felicity Mann, an Alexander Technique practitioner. It was fantastic to sit there in all the paces and be gently realigned, can't wait to get on board and work on the tweaks. Highly recommend the session, as a teacher it was invaluable to see her corrections and it has given us all lots to work on.

That sounds interesting Trudi. I wonder how you will find it applying the tweaks when you are on your boys

I am very impressed that I can feel the difference  I'm not easily convinced but I had the best session on Sunday.

Sounds brilliant, I have heard that a session on a simulator can be very revealing and helpful but have never had one myself; another thing to add to the bucket list

I'm booked in for another on Tuesday as I can feel some things 'letting go' and want to encourage it. Yes definitely recommend it and the Alexander Technique Sheila.

All I can say is AMAZING. My posture tweaks in the saddle have made so much difference! A whole hour on the simulator had my back finding more movement than I thought possible- Chapiro is very grateful! Short video from the following day applying it on a real horse.

 oh I'm always boring everyone with videos so thought I'd keep it short- it's more a memory for me to look back on as he is finally working more uphill with ease.
Felicity told me about an AT lady I can literally walk to here in Dulverton- wouldn't be on a horse but means I could work on the general technique which is already helping my back.

Ah, I'd love a lesson on a simulator with a good teacher. A couple of places with simulators near us, but not necessarily with teachers I'd trust. :?
