Does anyone know anything about this trainer and 'yoga for horses' involving core strengthening?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnewAkqbZvg

He's coming to give a demo and workshop near me soon, am undecided whether or not to attend

I've seen it before and it's much as I work my horses- he overdoes the bend a little for me (ie low nose) but as the core strengthens that would/should raise the base of the neck and the nose so all good. It is just gymnastic dressage so nowt to not like and for someone like you, who knows that you don't spend the horses life with his nose on the floor, another interesting day out. Don't like the spurs and plaits in the video but that's 'cos I'm a scruffy bugger who doesn't like spurs!

hmmm - interesting ... Sheila and I have been watching a clinic today with a bio-mechanics instructor and one of the horses had a similar (although much more established) way of going to Bandit and she was saying how he needed to increase his core strength .....

Well we haven't seen the handsome Spaniard at work in a long time Jennie :hmmm: get that camera out.

What does a bio-mechanics instructor do differently to a regular instructor, what did you think Jennie or Sheila anything you will be applying at home?

hoping to go again 2mrw or Friday Trudi ... today was all about 'mobilising' the neck - a lot of forwards and downwards ....

Hopefully we'll get to try a bit with Bandit over the weekend and I will persuade Sheila to film ...

they were moving Trudi - I didnt see her doing any work with them at the halt ...

I am not going to have time today but will go back with Sheila again 2mrw ... it will be interesting to see what progress they have made in the 3 days

this is the same teacher that Sheila has taken FIna to clinics with ...

I might be brave and ask the "do you think that it is possible to achieve the same result without a bit??" question 2mrw ...
