Darwin d'Arapie

One baby photo to start off his blog ....... I spoke to his 'mum' today to arrange transport - its looking like the week beginning the 10th May - which gives me plenty of time to finish off up at the winter field and get the horses home - I don't want him here until they are all where I can keep an eye on them .....
She has been continuing the little bits of work she does with them each day and was telling me that the other day she got the tarp out for the first time - and guess who was first on ........ yep Darwin - he has a very Mis-like fearless temperament - she said he walked straight up to it gave it a sniff then walked onto it - the others were much more worried .... I cant wait to get him home and to start to do things with him .....

Glad you like him Di   I went to look at him about 3 weeks ago and it was never really in doubt - I shouldnt really be buying another horse but he is perfect ....... and 1/4 Smooth Operator who was Royale's sire .....

Yes Sarah - I have been a bit quiet about it as I was thinking that I shouldn't really but I have decided to go for it - he is just what I would have liked to produce and has been so well handled - confident and respectful - that I could have done better if I'd tried .....

I have to face the fact that both Mis and Han are coming to the end of their working lives and I do like to have 2 to ride (No, there's no way I'm getting on the :donkey: )

He and I are going to grow old together ....... :cowboy: :cowboy:

I really am so incredibly excited for you, Jennie!
