Apparently the slideshows aren't working on every browser :hmmm:
Looking into it...

Really enjoyed reading your reports over my morning coffee (trying not to get distracted over that photo - what was his act by the way apart from drawing the crowds :-D ). Some beautiful horses too; I love the dun or is it isabelle Iberian and the Camargues. There are some pretty dishy gardiennes too, they're not all in there 70s; the guy we bought Kenia off was a drool too. Something about the southerners...
I have been to Cheval Passion twice (it is slightly less crowded mid-week) and would love to go again - we should make an effort next year people! Good job I didn't plan for this year though because of the snow, but looks as if it was just wet there.
It is so huge, so special, there is just so much to see & do as Martine says, the cabaret équestre and the showcase for the lesser known performances, it really is about passion for horses   :-D :-D

Very nice photo there Helen! I approve

Thanks for sharing your blog posts, Martine. I have bookmarked them to read this evening because I'm just about to rush out of the door to pick the kids up from swimming.

GAH still struggling with how to post photos here... if anyone could PM me a brief how-to, at least I'll have it in my inbox then (I think)
Anyway here's link to the Rando shop :
http://www.rando-cheval-boutique.com/
That tapis is not cheap but it looks to be VERY well made and for me it is a good halfway house to use with my English saddles until I can invest in a trekking saddle

Glad you enjoyed the posts, Sheila, I have every intention of going next year too, it was wet this weekend alright but in actual fact it was not unlike being at a show in Ireland in the summer!
I'm not sure what Mr **swoon**'s act was, he was part of a cabaret act, or he may have been from the Crinières d'Or (which I want to see next year! The doggies will have to wait in the car...)

The LSH thought we might like a picture of a man in uniform too!

By the way I think an AMOH field trip next year is a great idea! Count me in
