 report Tanya! I'm sure you and Sosso will have benefited from a lesson on 3 consecutive days & have made loads of progress. If Nicky comes back in the autumn that will be great :hurray:

Here's some bits of video from Tanya's first lesson on Thursday afternoon, you need sound on to get the full benefit of the first one

Finding out where her "seatbones" really lived made a hug difference to her position then it was just a case of making little adjustments like bending her elbows, using her calf in and forward instead of taking her leg back to use her heel and rising in more of forward and back arc as opposed to straight up and down. She did really well and I enjoyed teaching her, she listened and really tried to put what I was saying into practice. Sosso was an  he was so patient when we were swapping saddles & riders. Tanya had a wee canter on Saturday and it was so sweet the way he looked after her

Thank you Tanya for putting me up & looking after me so well.

Stirrups still a bit short here.

Thanks for telling us about your weekend Tanya. I would liked to have been there to hear more about EE.

Have you taken some of the EE work that you are going to use on a daily basis? It is a shame Nicky is so far from you.

Thanks for the great vids, Nicky :hurray: Well done Tanya, looking really good there.

Oh that first one was so funny! Reminds me of when I was trying to teach my friend Jackie how to ride Squaw and she kept saying 'I'm sitting right on my fandango -is that right?'
