I certainly won't be rushing back to see any Arabian shows after seeing them at Salon du Cheval up in Paris. They get the poor horses lit up before they go in the ring by waving plastic bags, tied on the end of ticks, at them. It's got sod all to do with desensitising and it's even worse when the poor horses are actually in the ring They have plants in the audience running around the stands doing the same plus people stamp their feet on the wooden boards to make scary noises :evil:

Shame about the arabs. The attellage rallye looks fun though it's a bit far for me; par contre, the Loubejac one, is quite near me so let me know if anyone is going to that.

Hmmm, not my favourite centre équestre round here, all very shouty pully, especially the owner... Kids who go there never seem to learn anything about stable management or riding but pass their galops... :hmmm:
