Towing vehicle what to get?

Towing vehicle what to get?

Postby FlorayG » Thu Jul 28, 2016 2:12 pm

Need one cheap, about ten years old, reasonably good on fuel as have to do 30 miles a day, must not be a pickup. Currently have a Nissan X Trail but not convinced it's the right thing for me, it's neither one thing nor the other. It was only after I bought it that I read in the manual "This is NOT an off road vehicle"
Say what??!

I've been driving a Series III all week and am in love with that - not for sale though  anyway, while it will tow anything anywhere I'd probably rather do that at more than 20mph.

Land Rover Defender 90 or Mitsubishi Shogun? I'm down to those two...and possibly a second mortgage for fuel...*sigh*

You'll need to resize your pics somewhere else before uploading them, I use Paint.net which you can download here: http://www.getpaint.net/download.html

Nice car!
