Great to see the stallions having time off together; and why not? As the comment explains, there are no mares involved; nice to see them relaxing, playing and buddying up in pairs. Beautiful horses

Fun video Candy :-D

Sarah, they're a bit repetitive but it's interesting to see Fina doing this and it went on for ages. The pattern interested me. Shows how horses use and relate to patterns and that's something we can use in our training. It's a big thing in Parelli.

Trudi wrote:Interesting Sheila :hmmm: Chapiro does something similar when he wants Moo to be with him in a different part of the field but Moo is quite obliging and takes the hint quite quickly  Of course that may be clouding my judgement but from what I see in the videos it looks like she's trying to get Tayenne to leave the fence and go up under the trees with her.

Thanks, makes sense.
I asked Susan to take a look. She said it looks as if Fina wants Tayenne to follow her and when she doesn't, she gets more and more worried, stressed, that she isn't getting the response from Tayenne that she expects. The pattern is somewhere to go and is stress-related; like weaving or fence walking. She keeps trying and gets more stressed when she isn't effective and it isn't working. You would expect to see the other horse retaliate or kick or gallop around, some sort of reaction but Tayenne doesn't seem to care or to respect Fina. I can imagine how frustrating that would be!
Fina is so much better with Lucie in charge and life is clear and simple again :-D
