Ear shots

Thought we could have a thread for those "as seen through horse's ears" photos (there's a group on FB for that, some of the pics are fantastic). Here's one from my trip down to the river at Ribebon this summer

Good idea - the FB group is brilliant - just people sharing photos of their horses from all over the world - no critism, no bitching just happy horse owners

Here's one from a hack in Leicestershire today, Late Starter on a nice chunky big-bottomed black cob and Ali on a funny-looking coloured one who's had all excess hair removed, including his whiskers

My horse was called Caramac, and boy was he hard work after my lovely responsive supple boy......

Funnily enough, my book is called Through the Ears of an Irish Cob (shameless plug)
If I ever get around to publishing it, this is going to be the cover photo :

I have a LOT of photos featuring Flurry's ears!!

Good idea - I'll dig some pics out later. The FB group sounds fun, I'll look for it, what's it called?
Love the head shot of Sky, and Martine's view is stunning  Good to see the Leics scenery again; pretty near my old hoofing ground :-D

I have a few of these...

One of the first pictures taken out on a trail ride with Iris- we're finally getting to a place that I can do this while we go along.

This is one of the last pictures I took riding my dear old cob before he injured himself and had to quit work.

I feel quite lucky ( by English standards ) to be riding in a location that I have scenery like this around...

Ooh, one other I found nearby:

That was Steve riding past when I was out in Australia to learn with him a couple of years back.

Martine gets the prize for my favourite shot so far -the scenery and the composition of the photo are lovely.

I can see why your horse was called Caramac, Helen. Can you still buy Caramacs? I loved them!

Some great ones there, Ben. Your dear old cob has a really sweet face.
