Random question of the day.....

Today, only a short hack; last week on my friend's Camargue which was nice as he's "properly schooled" (but robotic); and only one other time since Christmas... makes 3 maybe 4 times since then. Not done much more on the ground either, due to mud. So my average is down to once a week; but that's winter for you.

Two weeks past Saturday when I hacked out and got caught in a storm. Need to get my backside back in the saddle consistently or i'll pay for it on holiday but the weather's not exactly encouraging is it......

No. Weather/dark evenings combined with accidentally getting a full time job has seriously scuppered my riding this winter

No, they did forecast them for this morning but they seemed to blow out a bit overnight- colder and drier this afternoon.

Anyone else here have more trouble getting off a horse than on it...?
I seem to have lost the knack and end up sort of half throwing myself and part sliding off, and all in a very ungainly fashion. Kaiser is not too impressed either.
Any ideas where I may be going wrong?
