What a fab day thanks Helen

Didn't start so well as Chaps jumped out of his field to get close to Poppy pony who would appear to be in a super season  he and Moo then spent much of the day with their tongues hanging out and whickering to her  Ali was super calm and took the first shots from Moo- he did then realise there was a job to do and stopped worrying so much about his woman.

I learned lots and can't wait to try it from Chapiro....should be fun............

CMA trip this weekend to see an advaced coach friend, try out lots of bows, new techniques and the odd horse or two. Made lots of progress towards getting my advanced coach qualification (although not there on the riding bit yet as I'm sooooo out of practise ) and Ali nearly has everything done for intermediate horseback archer too :-D

I just love that image of you thundering down th etrack on the haffy  and that longbow, if that is what it is, looks amazing, does it feel very different, and can it be used on horseback?

It's a yumi, a Japanese asymmetrical bow, it's a sod to shoot on the ground, and yes they do use them on horseback, talk about making life difficult for yourself!! And as for the silly costumes they have to wear
