lovely photo Helen - what a pretty, happy looking pony

I think the disabled riders are amazing but I did think some of the horses were v long-suffering ....

Great pic, there was a lady they kept showing short bits of who had no legs at all doing trot work  would loved to have seen her in action, I know when you first watch it's oh is that it then when you start to think they either have no feeling in their legs, or no control of legs or arms or are blind you go bloody hell well done guys

The rider with no legs was on one of the H&C "Road to Normandy" programmes, she's a German called Angelika Trabert. amazing lady :notworthy:

I saw the lady without legs riding and thought she was amazing

Apparently there are a lot of people who are v unhappy about the organisation at Le Pin for the XC .... when you think about the amount of money they took 50,000 people at €34 a ticket !!! you'd have thought they could have done a bit more to get us all in and out, to feed people, provide decent loos and some staging around the fences ..... it seems we were lucky we only queued for 2.5 hours and we did actually get in and see quite a bit of the action ...

My thoughts too. If there are big imbalances then it does worry me a bit. I know what it did to my body carrying the kids around on one hip when they were little :hide:

That Fjord is stunning and looks to be so relaxed and happy. The regular dressage riders should take note.

Well the SJ is the usual round of unhappy horses in too much headgear so this week we have been watching the vaulting. Must be fairly boring for the horses going round in circles but at least no one's hauling on their mouths (although they all seem to have side reins on)

Some of the men's lycra numbers leave little to the imagination

Oops, indeed......

Got it sorted today, the SJ on the BBC red button on the telly, and the driving marathon on FEI TV on Candy's massive computer screen (as he's off in Wales slaughtering orcs or something this weekend), multitasking :-D
