Using AMoH with your Smartphone or Tablet device

There have been a few developments around this recently, so here's a fresh summary of what's going on...

We support access from phones/tablets through your normal web browser. Sadly this can be a difficult experience with all the zooming and pinching and resizing that is often required. So...

There's an App for that. :-D

We use the Tapatalk App which is integrated directly into our forums. This enables access to the forums only but provides a much better way to keep up with topics and PMs on the move. You will still need to use your browser to access the Calendar or Portal features.

You will need to download the Tapatalk client to use this feature:

  1. iPhone and recent iPod Touch (from iTunes store)
    • Tapatalk Community Edition: Free
    • Tapatalk 2: £2.49
  2. iPad (from iTunes store)
    • Tapatalk Community Edition: Free
    • Tapatalk 2: £2.49
    • Tapatalk HD: £2.99
  3. Android Phone (from Google Play)
    • Tapatalk 4 - Community Reader: Free
  4. Android Tablet including Kindle Fire (from Google Play)
    • Tapatalk 4 - Community Reader: Free
    • Tapatalk HD: €3.99
  5. Windows Phone (new devices only) including Nokia Lumia, HTC One (from Windows Store)
    • Tapatalk: £2.29
  6. Blackberry: Not currently supported but will be soon.

In most cases, the free app is going to be absolutely fine. The HD app for tablets is a bit better for those larger screens. If you are unsure whether your device is supported, please just ask and we'll let you know.

Please note: These apps are ad-free and, as with the rest of the site, we are not making any money from them. We have provided support for this purely as a convenience for our users on the move.
